Benny The Butcher Reveals Features & Release Date For 'Summertime Butch 2'

Benny The Butcher is preparing to drop his highly anticipated project sooner than you think.

On Monday, July 14, the Buffalo, N.Y. native dropped a teaser for his upcoming album Summertime Butch 2 via Black Soprano Family. The clip reveals the official album cover along with the tracklist. His 12-track project will hold fresh collaborations with Westside Gunn, G Herbo, Bun B, OT The Real, Bruiser Wolf, Elcamino & Duckman. Benny also recruited esteemed producers like Daringer, Mike WiLL Made-It and more to contribute to the album's production. The announcement came nearly two weeks after he dropped his single "Summer '25."

Benny's sequel to Summertime Butch comes nearly a year after he delivered the original. The Def Jam signee dropped Summertime Butch last August with 10 tracks including features from Ed Lover, Harry Fraud, Ray Moon, and his Black Soprano brethren Rick Hyde, Elcamino and Fuego Base. Since then, Benny has dropped a couple of notable projects like his collaborative album with 38 Spesh, Stabbed & Shot 2, and his Excelsior EP.
