Young M.A is opening up after a video surfaced that has her fans asking questions about her health issues.
On Tuesday, March 18, the New York native provided context to the concerning footage of her during a difficult time in her life that spread on social media. The video in question is from two years ago when Young M.A was going through a health crisis. It shows her in a hospital while she appears jaundiced and slurs her speech. The "OOOUUU" rapper didn't disclose exactly what ailed her at the time, however, she did reveal where the video came from.
“I know y’all see this video going around on the blogs, or whatever the case," she began. "Somebody I, you know, once upon a time was with, posting me in the hospital at a vulnerable moment.”
“I just feel like that was just so foul though," she continued. "You feel me like, that’s just foul. I don’t even know how a person could have the urge or willing to want to even do something like that. That just speaks a lot and I just never knew this was her character. But people be people sometimes and you just never know and it is what it is."
In 2023, Young M.A spoke out after a separate video had surfaced of her looking unwell while at a barbershop. The clip sparked concern among her fans, but she assured them she was ok. She also addressed the situation in a song she dropped called "Open Scars."
"As many of my supporters know I’ve been dealing with various personal health issues the last few years," Young M.A. said in 2023. "I recently was hospitalized and was successfully treated for several conditions. I’m doing better now, will take some time, but I’m on the road to recovery and look forward to the future. Rest assured I’m in good spirits and everything will be explained in the MUSIC! Plus documentary..Love y’all MAB! Don’t worry I’m good!"
