R. Kelly May Be Indicted Over A New Video Of Him Allegedly Abusing A Minor

A new video of R. Kelly allegedly sexually abusing an underage girl has surfaced.

Prosecutors are reportedly looking into the new footage (viewed by CNN) that "appears to show Kelly having sex with a girl who refers to her body parts as 14 years old," CNN reports.

Lawyer Michael Avenatti, who is representing a man he calls a whistleblower against Kelly, told the network he handed the video to Cook County State's Attorney's Office in Chicago last weekend. "My client knows the identity of the girl and R. Kelly," Avenatti said. "He identified the two of them on the videotape. He worked for and has known R. Kelly for decades and he met the girl on a number of occasions."

Avenatti additionally tweeted a statement on Thursday (February 14) describing the tape.

According to CNN, the new footage is nearly 45 minutes long, features two scenes — one in a living room, another in a bedroom — is clear and explicit. "A naked man who appears to be R. Kelly is seen performing multiple sex acts with the girl. She is heard calling him 'daddy' multiple times. It is impossible to know her age just from the video. They both refer to her '14-year-old p***y.' Six times the girl refers to her genitalia as 14 years old," read CNN's report.

The network also noted a moment where the man asks the young girl to urinate. After she does, he urinates on her. All of which mirrors the alleged acts for which Kelly was arrested, later acquitted, for child pornography in 2002.

As previously reported, Kelly, who has denied all allegations of sexual abuse or misconduct against him, is currently under criminal investigation following the airing of Surviving R. Kelly. The three-part docuseries detailed harrowing recounts of Kelly's alleged sexual abuse — told by seven alleged survivors — over the last 20-plus years.

Kelly's attorney, Steve Greenberg, told CNN he has yet to be informed about any tape given to prosecutors. "We are unaware of any new information involving Mr. Kelly," he said. "We have not been contacted by anyone. We have not been informed about any new information by anyone and we have not been contacted by law enforcement."
