Chicago police have four men in custody in relation to last Thursday's shooting in the Back of the Yards neighborhood that injured 13 people including 3-year-old boy who was shot in the head.

Two of the men are being charged as shooters and two are charged as participants in the attack. All offenders were charged with three counts of attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm.

The Chicago Police Department provided the following information about the offenders:

Tabari Young, 22

Bryon Champ, 21

Also fired a gun during the shooting. Convicted felon and confirmed gang member.

Kewane Gatewood, 20

Brad Jett, 22

Gatewood and Champ are scheduled to appear in court today -- September 24 -- and Young and Jett are scheduled to appear tomorrow.

Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy has requested that all offenders receive a three-year minimum sentence for for illegal gun possession.
