Just weeks after returning from a devestating ACL injurty that kept Bulls superstar Derrick Rose out for the entire 2012-2013 season, he's back on the bench with another knee injury.

Rose suffered a medial meniscus tear in his right knee during last Friday night's game agains the Portland Trail Blazers.

He underwent surgery Monday morning at Rush University Medical. Chicago Bulls head team physician Dr. Brian Cole and team physician Dr. Chuck Bush Joseph, who performed the surgery, declared it a success but also delivered the blow that Rose will not be able to return to the court during the 2013-2014.

Rose, who will now be spending the majority of his season in recovery mode for the second year in a row, has played in just 50 NBA games over the past three years.

What do you think this means for D-Rose's career?
